Reciprocal Teaching- Supporting Each Other to Understand

In third grade we begin to dive into more independent work. Reciprocal teaching is a way of organizing small reading groups to help us practice reading comprehension as well as leadership skills and collaboration. Up until now we have been doing this practice whole group. Today we gave it a try at our tables. The class did great and demonstrated excellent respect for their colleagues as well as diligent, hard work! Great job third graders!
